Intensive therapy in the South of France

In addition to my regular consultations, I offer an intensive therapy programme in the South of France. This therapy experience lasts five days and combines psychotherapy, walking therapy, and meditation in a beautiful natural environment.

Far from your normal, everyday routine, you will have time and space to fully focus on your inner world without distraction.

Old winemaker’s village Boissezon

For this intensive therapy programme you will travel to an old winemaker’s village surrounded by vineyards, situated in beautiful nature with mid-mountains and a river to swim in. Our conversations will take place in my own ‘maison de vacances’, an authentic French village house with a view of the valley.

Besides our therapy sessions you will have time to venture on many hikes and swim in the river. To enhance the getaway feeling and guarantee your privacy, there are several charming and affordable accommodations in the immediate vicinity. I will gladly help you find a suitable place.

The therapy sessions

During the therapy sessions we will discuss where you need more insight in your life. I often use the Voice Dialogue methodology. In this form of therapy, we examine which inner voices (or ‘parts’) determine how you unconsciously react to situations. With attention and empathy, you will learn to acknowledge and regulate these parts.

Through this approach we often meet and address the ‘inner child’. In the core of our being, we do not actually change, but we can learn how to honour the parts of us that are struggling. During this process you will come to discern your own system.

Perspective

At the start of your intensive therapy programme we will carefully look at where you need guidance and which approach fits you best. There is a daily rhythm of in-depth therapy and reflection.

You can immediately practice using the tools provided in our sessions, with full concentration and in a more relaxed state of mind, which will help gain new insights more quickly. The beautiful surroundings contribute to bring about new and broadened perspectives.
